Barrier Plus

Barrier Plus is a zinc-rich epoxy primer with a very high zinc content and high solids by volume, designed for severely corrosive environments. The high zinc content provides optimal corrosion protection when used as part of a complete coating system, especially in areas requiring high durability. It is ideal as a primer in atmospheric conditions and can be applied on carbon steel to repair inorganic zinc silicate coatings or damaged galvanized steel.Barrier Plus meets ASTM D520 type II standards for zinc dust and can be applied to substrates at temperatures as low as 0°C. Recommended for offshore environments, refineries, power plants, bridges, buildings, general steel structures, and pipelines exposed to corrosive conditions up to C5 (ISO 12944-2). Barrier Plus demonstrates excellent performance in adhesion/cohesion and anti-static properties compared to conventional zinc-rich epoxy coatings.
